get around と get along with
get around は「回避する・移動する・広まる」、get along with は「人とうまくやっていく」。対象が「問題」か「人間関係」かで見分けます。
問題を避けるか、人とうまくやるか
get around と get along with は同じ get 系の熟語ですが、扱う対象がまったく違います。get around は物事や場所に、get along with は人間関係に使われます。

get around の使い分け
get around には複数の意味があります。1つは「規則や問題をうまく回避する」（get around a tricky problem）。もう1つは「あちこち自由に移動できる」（It's easy to get around the city by bike）。さらに「（噂・情報が）人から人へ広まる」（news got around quickly）という意味もあります。共通するのは「障害や制約に縛られず、うまく通り抜けて動く」というイメージです。
get along with の使い分け
get along with（get on with もほぼ同義）は「（人と）友好的な関係を築いている」ことを表し、"She gets along with everyone in the office." のように使います。get along だけでも「（特に困難な状況で）何とかやっていく・暮らしていく」という意味になります（How are you getting along?）。
使い分けの手がかり
get around の目的語は「問題・規則・場所・情報」など人以外が中心です。get along with の目的語は必ず「人」で、resolve/circumvent に置換できる get around とは違い、have a good relationship with に置換できます。
なぜ直訳で読み解けないか
around は「対象の周りを回り込む」イメージなので、get around は規則や障害物を正面から突破せず迂回して切り抜けることを表します。along with は「相手と並んで一緒に進む」イメージなので、get along with は人間関係の良好さ・協調性を表します。
よくある誤用
It's hard to get around my new colleague.（誤・意味不明瞭）。同僚とうまくやるのは get along with。get around を人に使うと「その人を言いくるめる・避ける」という別の意味になり誤解を招きます。The rumor got along quickly.（誤）。噂が広まったのは get around。get along with に「広まる」の意味はありません。まとめ
